Posted at January 2, 2013 by

While the year 2012 hasn’t exactly ended, we can’t really say its a “year in review”, but seeing that logic sort of doesn’t hold with our colleagues all over the web, we decided to jump into the foray with our picks for Best Performances in 2012 (So Far) in Television and Movies for both male and female actors.

Bryan Fuller Stocks Up ‘Hannibal’ Cast & Gets ‘Mockingbird Lane’ Halloween Special on NBC

Posted at October 16, 2012 by

Bryan Fuller’s Hannibal has a laundry list of actors I’m just dying to see on my TV screen once again. The series, which premieres at midseason on NBC, has been rounding out its cast for quite some time. As the success for Hannibal seems to keep on growing, that meant his other NBC project, Mockingbird Lane looks like it won’t go to series, but it’s costly pilot will air as a Halloween special.

Hoffman is all over the news lately, first with his raved-about performance in Paul Thomas Anderson’s The Master, as well as his new film, A Late Quartet, which also comes out later this year. ‘A Late Quartet’ Makes Classical Music Interesting Again (Trailer)

A film about an aging quartet doesn’t seem like a big box-office draw, but when it loads up on talent like A Late Quartet does here, one can see the appeal. There’s a new clip from the film to make all this news go down smoothly.
