Robert Pattinson Going To ‘ The Rover’ & Hunts Hussein in ‘Mission: Blacklist’ (UPDATE: Poster)
[Update] Check out the new poster after the jump.

[Original] Well, Robert Pattinson isn’t fading into the background after his star-making turn in Twilight as vampire Edward… Oh, I really don’t care about that “franchise”, but I will say that his dark-thriller turn in David Cronenberg’s Cosmopolis can be something extremely different for the actor. Also, he’ll be appearing in The Rover and Mission: Blacklist.
Pattinson has been cast as one of the leads in David Michod’s The Rover, which “chronicles a man who relentless pursues a gang who stole his car through the wild and rough Australian outback of the near future.” Pattinson will play Reynolds, “the brother of one of the thieves who is left behind when an encounter with the police goes very wrong.” The film will also star Guy Pearce as “the man in search of his car.”
He’ll also be in Jean-Stephane Sauvaire’s Mission: Blacklist, an adaptation of Mission: Blacklist #1 from military interrogator Eric Maddox: “that details the true, inside story of the search for Saddam Hussein and the interrogator, Eric Maddox, who spearheaded his capture.” The film is adapted by Erik Jendresen.
