[UPDATE] Check out these new photos from Spring Breakers. I’m particularly alarmed with James Franco’s involvement.
Well, here’s something unexpected in a “why-didn’t-I-expect-this-sooner” kind of way. James Franco will next be seen in Harmony Korine’s new “extremely independent film”: Spring Breakers as a rapper. Korine, behind controversial Larry Clark opus Kids and directorial debut Gummo, is directing the film that also stars Selena Gomez. Yes, Justin Bieber’s girlfriend…
Franco’s character is based on the real-life rapper Riff Raff, who’s the “hip hop Kenny Rogers”. Intriguing nonetheless. Here’s your first look at James Franco in character:
