[ORIGINAL] Liam Hemsworth is going to be just as busy as his brother Christ Hemswroth (Thor), and can currently be seen onscreen in the blockbuster The Hunger Games. With his upcoming role in The Expendables 2, the actor is likely to headline Paranoia, directed by Robert Luketic (Killers, 21). The film is also in talks to star Gary Oldman and Harrison Ford.
Production is to being in early summer, Paranoia is “a corporate espionage thriller set in the world of dueling telecom giants.” Hemsworth is slated to play the “talented young man who is used by a company CEO to infiltrate a competing telecom company and learn about the secret “Project Aurora.”"
The film is based on the novel of the same name by author Joseph Finder published in 2004. With an intriguing cast, the source materials seems very much in the style of Oliver Stone’s Wall Street and even HBO’s Too Big To Fail. Although not being based on any real-world corporate controversy, the subject matter is very timely in todays often labyrinthe-corporate secrecy.
