Australian actor Callan McAuliffe appears to have a blossoming acting career. The actor can be seen as a teen in Baz Luhrmann’s The Great Gatsby adaptation, opening this Friday, and has recently garnered the lead role in Our Robot Overlords.

This time, Jane Got A Gun has gone under some major retooling recently adding Ewan McGregor as the villain and Keira Knightley taking on the role previously played by Anne Hathaway in Laggies.

Stephen King’s deep roster of creative material is reaching fever pitch. CBS’s has Under The Dome this summer, J.J. Abrams has acquired the rights to 11/22/63 for TV and a remake of Carrie is coming to theaters for Halloween. And yet, A Good Marriage is also making its way to theaters, having already cast Joan Allen. Kristen Connolly and Anthony LaPaglia have just been cast in the project based on King’s 2010 novella by the same name.

Jason Bateman is in talks to star in a new film for Walt Disney Animation and Tangled director Byron Howard.

Neither Walt Disney Animation or Pixar have yet to comment on project, however a source of The Hollywood Report says the new project is an as-yet untitled animal comedy that does not yet have a release date.

Raising Hope star Shannon Woodward is joining  TJ Miller, Adam Pally and Thomas Middleditch in the Universal comedy Search Party.

The film tells the story of two roommates who go to great lengths to save their friend Nardo, who is naked and stranded in Mexico. Woodward will play the sometimes-girlfriend of the Nardo character, who also ends up in Mexico.

The studio is remaking movie musical Guys & Dolls and is looking at Channing Tatum and Joseph Gordon-Levitt to play the lead roles. The original, made in 1955, centered around gambling and other sins and starred Frank Sinatra and Marlon Brando.
