Actress Emma Roberts is getting witchy on FX. The actress, no stranger to horror after starring in Scream 4, is in talks to join the cast of Ryan Murphy’s witch-themed TV creeper American Horror Story: Coven. Roberts would play a narcissistic party animal called Madison.

The Hunger Games star Josh Hutcherson is set to star in psychological thriller Ape from Atomic Owl Pictures and Jet Lag Productions. The film tells the story of a young man’s struggle with mental illness, love and a deep family secret. It is set to be directed by Miguel Sapochnik from a screenplay by Jon Johnstone.

Call it the show where everything is so crazy, it’s just about as brilliant as it seems. Orphan Black is BBC America’s first series, shot in Ontario and from Ginger Snaps director John Fawcett and Grame Manson (who wrote Vincenzo Natali’s Cube). The series has cult-hit written all over it, but its Tatiana Maslany’s performance that has us swooning at the series, playing Sarah, a woman who steals the identity of another woman who commits suicide. The twist? They look exactly the same.

The actor will be playing the big man on campus, with many roles as a college student, fraternity president and lacrosse team captain who gets busted for drugs that were meant for a party in Fox’s film Narc. The police offer to let him go free if he becomes a narc, secretly helping the police catch the bad guys while carrying on the usual campus activities.

Sony Pictures recently won the worldwide distribution rights to produce an animated film based on the spectacularly popular video game by Rovio Entertainment. Despicable Me producer John Cohen and Iron Man producer David Maisel have both signed on to produce the film. No director or cast has yet been selected.
