‘Maniac’ Remake Starring Elijah Wood (Trailer)

Based on William Lustig’s Maniac (1980), the remake from Franck Khalfoun (P2, Wrong Turn at Tahoe) stars Elijah Wood who displays one of the creepiest and most manic look on film. Maniac centers on the “story of a very damaged manwho kills women as a way to articulate rage towards his deceased mother. Bradley Cooper & Jeremy Irons in ‘The Words’ (Trailer)

Looks like Bradley Cooper will once again be playing a “tortured writer”. I don’t know if that concept has become a cliche yet for, but it should no matter the iteration or “narrative spin” in any film.
